Fink, George P. age 73, of Minneapolis, MN, died Monday, September 10, 2012 at his home. Survivors include his wife, Kathy; George's daughter, Sara (Randy) Carlson and grandsons, Cooper and Wyatt, of Duluth; son, Greg Busch, of Truckee, CA; sons, Geoffrey Fink, of Omaha, NE, Steven Fink, of Omaha, NE; daughter, Joanie (Jeff) Arney, and children, Sara and Chase, of Omaha, NE; sister, Carolyn (David) Pokela, of Greensboro, NC; sister-in-law, Vicky (Mark) Lundgren, of Chaska; brother- in-law, David (Diane) Zamjahn, of Excelsior; many nieces and nephews.
George was born October 27, 1938 in Duluth, MN, to Beret and Leonard Fink. He was a graduate of Washburn High School, Minneapolis, and the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis and was a past member of the U of M Men's Glee Club from 1957-1958 and the U of M track and field team from 1956 - 1957. He was one of four founders of Grandma's Marathon in Duluth, MN. He was a District Sales Manager for Northwestern Bell, ATT, and US West. On October 16, 1980 George married Kathy Zamjahn at Crown of Glory Lutheran Church, Chaska.
