Russel L. Helleckson
Helleckson Russel L., age 82, of Richfield, died June 17, 2000. He was a former Washburn H.S. teacher,
football coach, and assistant principal. He retired as a Naval Commander
and served in WWII and the Korean War.
Survived by wife of 57 years, Mary Ann; daughters, Nancy (David) Glenn,
Susan (David) Ruzek, Janet Helleckson (Robert Offringa); grandchildren,
Kirsten Hayford, Kari Fields, Scott Glenn, Jonathan Ruzek, Timothy Ruzek;
sisters, Harriet Thompson and Mildred Distad.
Memorial service 11:30 AM Thurs., June 22 at Woodlake Lutheran Church,
7525 Oliver Av S, Richfield. Private interment at Fort Snelling National
Cemetery. Memorials pref. to the church or Augsburg College A-Club. Cremation
