Joanne Patricia Hackett
Hackett Joanne Patricia Hackett, age 67 of Minneapolis,
on June 3, 2005 after a brief, but courageous, battle with lung cancer.
Born March 3, 1938 in Minneapolis. Graduate of
Washburn H.S.
Joanne was an avid reader and worked for Barnes &
Noble for 15 years. Her favorite things in life were being a grandma
and the latest Joyce Carol Oates book along with a cup of black coffee.
She was preceded in death by mother, Corinne Maher.
She is survived by her six children, Doug (Mary), Maryjo (Gary), Nick,
Dina, Eric, and Dirk; twelve grandchildren, Doug, Megan, Lily, Sofia,
Bronson, Madeline, Lola, Maxwell, Daisy, Sydney, McKinley and Julia;
many cousins and her special friend, Bob.
Memorial Mass 10 AM Friday at Church of the Incarnation,
3800 Pleasant Ave. S. Interment Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
memorials to her favorite charity, Heifer International, appreciated.
