Edward J. "Ed" Munson
Munson Edward J. "Ed", age 64 of Andover,
passed away July 26 in his sleep. Preceded in death by parents and brother,
Paul. He will be deeply missed by loving wife, Mary (Johnston) and devoted
children and grandhildren; son, Michael (Kari) and children, Ellen and
Rachel; daughter, Kathy (Jamie) and children, Hannah, Elijah, Noah,
Leah and Sarah; daughter, Karen (Greg) and children, Amanda and Nathan;
son, David (Amy) and children, Lauren and Sean and also survived by
many loving relatives and friends.
Ed was with the Spring Lake Park School District #16 for 33 years. Ed
proudly served in the 1st Battle Group, 3rd Infantry and was recognized
for his outstanding performance of duty while a member of the guard
at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Ed was an avid tennis player, baseball
enthusiast, ballroom dancer and proud grandfather.
Memorial service Wednesday, 11 am at Trinity Episcopal
Church of Anoka, 1415 6th Ave., and visitation Tuesday, 5-8 pm AT THE
CHURCH and also one hour prior to service. Memorials preferred to the
family.
