Theodore P. Wangensteen, Jr.
Age 61, of Plymouth
1956 graduate of Washburn High School, voted most talented in his class.
Graduated from U of M Law School & Graduate School in International Law.
Member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity & Gamma Eta Gamma Professional Legal Fraternaty.
Ted started his law practice in Wayzata where he specialized in divorce work for 35 years. He was past
president of the Wayzata Lions Club. He was a confirmed member of Central Lutheran Church.
He was a sportsman who loved golf, fishing & hunting. Ted was also a pianist and an avid grower of
roses and orchids. His creativity extended into art in 1976 when he took up watercolor & later pen,
ink & acrylic.
He was loved and will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Kathryn; children Bjornstjerne Jon
"BJ", Christian, Kirsten, Ted and Kipling; brother, William, and many other family members and friends.
Ted loved Kathryn very much and was extremely proud of his children.
Memorial service 11 AM Saturday, January 8, 2000 at Central Lutheran Church, 333 S. 12th St., Mpls.
